Quinton Larson is a design leader who has consistently brought thoughtful leadership into the companies where he works. In this episode we speak with Quinton about his prior work at IDEO and eBay, his involvement with Indeed’s Job Seeker Journey team, how he makes sure the right people are involved in project kickoffs, and how design systems help create a more connected workflow between designers and developers.
Quinton Larson has made a big impact at Indeed, where he is currently Director and Lead Experience Designer. Within one year he led the design of the first version of their design system, as well as a vision for their native apps and is now leading Indeed’s Job Seeker Journey team aiming to unify the job seeker product portfolio.
Quinton also introduced a bold approach to Indeed for design sprints; taking the best of Google’s Sprint approach and blending it with IDEO’s methodology for a flexible framework that Indeed adjusts depending on the problem at hand.
